How We Work
At LangReach, we follow certain procedure to keep your project on track and we utilize the highest-quality tools in the industry. Our process is comprehensive, yet simple.
Upon receiving your project request, one of our project managers (PMs) will start the following process:
Preparation & Confirmation:
- Notify one of our localization engineers to analyze the received materials and prepare the content to be translated, considering the field of the project (know more about this step).
- The responsible PM will get back to you in case there are any issues or problems with the project materials arise or to confirm that the received files is ok.
Project timeline and planning:
- Discuss with you the time frame and the anticipated deadline.
- Assign suitable resources based on the requirements of your project.
Assigning the Project:
- Translation: A team of linguists will be chosen and assigned to your project. You can expect each of them to be duly credentialed and have the expertise to work on your project. Each team generally has a project manager, a translator and an editor.
- Editing/Reviewing: A second linguist will review the work once it has been translated. During this stage, the reviewer will check the translation for invalid or inconsistent terminology, grammatical errors, inconsistent format strings, or missing punctuation. The reviewer will also ensure that your instructions have been implemented.
- Proofreading: To fulfill our comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA,) a third linguist will thoroughly check the content to ensure that there are no typos or grammatical errors, and that the text reads well.
- Pre-Desktop Publishing (DTP) Localization Engineering: After completing all the translation and QA steps, the file is sent back to the Localization Engineer to re-convert it back to the desired format in order to be sent to the DTP.
Proofreading is also available as standalone service if you have a document in any format or in any language that needs “a fresh pair of eyes.”
Desktop Publishing Phase:
- DTP specialists follow procedure to adjust the layout and formatting of the translated material. At the end of this phase, there should be a "look-alike" of the original document.
DTP quality check:
- Once the material is in its final form, a QA specialist compares the target file against the source file and ensures that all DTP standards, language needs, as well as all of your instructions have been implemented.
- All QA phase reports are then sent to a DTP specialist to be applied to the target file. Thereafter, a final Portable Document Format (PDF) file is generated and then delivered to you.
Project delivery:
- The responsible PM performs final quality checks at various stages of the process to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Once the final quality checks are completed, the final file is then delivered to you via the method and in the format previously confirmed with you.
Our highly experienced team will work directly with you at each step. We will ensure that the concept of your project and your directions are carried out. Your satisfaction with the end result is our ultimate goal.
